How do I add photos to an album?

Pull in photos from your space, or upload new ones

There are two ways to fill an album: pull in photos already in your space, or upload new ones straight into it.

  1. Open the album.
  2. Tap + Add Media.
  3. Choose:
    • From Space — pick from photos already uploaded to this space, or
    • Upload New — add photos from your device. They join the album and the space at the same time.

Choosing the order: tap Reorder photos to pick how the album flows — by date taken or date added, newest or oldest first, or arrange a custom order yourself. Everyone in the album sees the order you set.

If you can't add photos:

  • The album's owner may have turned off member additions — you'll see "Adding media to this album is disabled by the album owner." Ask them to switch on "Allow members to add photos" in Album Settings.
  • If your role in the space is viewing-only, you can browse and comment on assigned albums but not add to them. The person who invited you can raise your access.
