How do I join a meetup?
Check your camera, join the call, browse together
When it's time, joining takes two taps.
- Open Meetups from the menu. Your scheduled calls are under the Upcoming tab. (Meetups also appear at the top of their album.)
- Open the meetup and join. You'll land in a preview room first — check your camera and microphone, turn either on or off, and see who's attending.
- Tap Join when you're ready.
One thing to know before you join: meetups are recorded, so video clips of the conversation can be attached to the photos you talk about — that's how the stories get kept with the pictures. Chat messages are saved too. Joining means you're okay being part of the recording; Memrico shows you this notice in the preview room every time.
During the call you can browse the album's photos together and use the Chat panel alongside the video. If you need to step away, leaving the call doesn't end the meetup for everyone else.
Afterward, the recording is processed and clips appear with the photos they belong to — check the Completed tab to watch a past meetup's recording.
