Why does Memrico look strange on my phone?

If Memrico shows odd colors, solid blocks where a soft tint should be, or a screen that just looks "off," the cause is almost always an older phone or an out-of-date browser — not a problem with your account or your photos. Everything you've shared is safe and untouched.

Try this first

1. Update your phone's software. On iPhone: Settings → General → Software Update. On Android: Settings → System → Software update.
2. Update your browser. On Android, update Chrome from the Play Store. On iPhone, Safari updates with the phone's software.
3. Reopen Memrico. Close the tab (or the home-screen app) and open it again.

If your phone can't update any further

Some older phones — the iPhone 7 and earlier, for example — have reached the end of their update life. Memrico still works on them: you can sign in, view photos, and take part in everything. But a few screens will keep their odd look, because the phone's browser can't display everything modern websites use. For the full experience, we recommend an iPhone 8 or newer, or any Android phone with a current Chrome.
