Report content on Memrico

How to report content that violates our Terms — including intimate images shared without consent, which we remove within 48 hours.

Effective date: August 16, 2026

1. What this page is for

Memrico is a private family photo and memory-sharing service. Our Terms and Conditions prohibit illegal, obscene, sexually explicit, harassing, and otherwise objectionable content. If you see content on Memrico that should not be there, this page tells you how to report it and what we will do.

You do not need a Memrico account to make a report. Anyone may use this process, including people who appear in photos or videos uploaded by a Memrico member.

2. Intimate images shared without consent — removed within 48 hours

If an intimate photo or video of you — including one that was digitally created or altered to look like you — has been uploaded to Memrico without your consent, you have the right to have it removed. This process is provided in accordance with the federal TAKE IT DOWN Act.

Who may report: the person who appears in the image, or someone authorized to act on their behalf (for example, a parent or legal guardian of a minor).

How to report: email privacy@memrico.com with the subject line “Content removal request” and include:

  1. Your name and signature. A typed full name in the email counts as an electronic signature. If you are reporting for someone else, tell us your relationship to them.
  2. Where the content is. Enough information for us to find it — a link to the photo, album, or space if you have one, or a description of the content and, if you know it, who uploaded it.
  3. A short statement that you believe in good faith the image depicts you (or the person you represent) and was uploaded or shared without consent.
  4. Your contact information, so we can follow up and confirm removal.

What we will do: we will remove the reported content within 48 hours of receiving a valid request, make reasonable efforts to identify and remove any identical copies on the service, and confirm the removal to you at the contact information you provided.

3. Content involving minors

We treat any report of sexual or exploitative content involving a minor with the highest severity. Where the law requires it, we report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and preserve related material for law enforcement. To report this content, email privacy@memrico.com with the subject line “Urgent — minor safety”. Please do not download, copy, or forward the content itself — tell us where it is instead.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact law enforcement first.

4. Other content that violates our Terms

To report any other content that violates our Terms and Conditions — for example content that is obscene, sexually explicit, harassing, hateful, or infringes someone’s rights — email privacy@memrico.com with the subject line “Content report” and tell us where the content is and why you are reporting it. We review every report. Where a report is substantiated, we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate the responsible account.

5. Good faith

We act on reports in good faith, and we ask the same of you. Knowingly submitting a false report — particularly a false claim that an image is nonconsensual — may itself violate the law. Reports made in good faith will never negatively affect you or your account, whether or not we ultimately remove the content.
