How do I schedule a meetup?
Poll the family for a time, or pick one yourself
A meetup is a video call around an album's photos — the whole family on a call, browsing together, telling the stories behind the pictures. Meetups belong to albums, so make an album first if you haven't.
- Open Meetups from the menu and tap New Meetup.
- Choose how to set the time:
• Propose multiple times — offer several slots and let everyone vote on what works.
• Schedule directly — pick the date and time yourself. - Set the timezone and, for a poll, the window you're open to (no earlier than / no later than).
- Invite the people you want there, and send it.
How voting works: everyone picks all the times they could make — not just one — so the best slot rises to the top, marked Popular. As organizer, you can see who's voted and who hasn't, and send a gentle Reminder to stragglers. When the votes are in, you pick the winning slot and the meetup is booked.
Plans changed? You can reschedule — propose new times or set a new date — and add a note for attendees so everyone knows why. A poll that never gets scheduled is removed automatically unless you reschedule it.
