How do I upload photos and videos?
Add memories from any device — they file themselves by date
Adding photos is the heart of Memrico — here's how.
- Tap the + button at the top of the screen.
- Choose Add Media.
- Pick the photos you want from your device. You can select several at once.
A progress panel shows each file as it uploads — Pending, Uploading, then Completed. If a file fails, tap Retry next to it. Stay in Memrico until the upload finishes; navigating away cancels files that haven't gone up yet.
Where do they land? Photos are filed by the date they were taken, not the date you uploaded them — so a scanned batch from 2009 slots into 2009, right where it belongs. For the first 24 hours, everything you've just added also appears in the Uploaded Recently section at the top of your space, so the family can see what's new at a glance.
Uploading into an album? Open the album, tap + Add Media, and choose Upload New. The photos join the album and the space at the same time.
If a file won't upload ("This file can't be uploaded — unsupported format"), try a standard photo format like JPEG or PNG.
