Where do deleted photos go?

Trash keeps them 90 days — restore any time before that

Deleted photos go to the Trash, where they stay for 90 days before being deleted automatically. Until then, you can bring any of them back — after that, they're gone for good.

To delete a photo: open it, tap the menu, and choose Delete Photo. You'll see a confirmation — "Move to Trash?" — before anything happens.

To restore a photo:

  1. Open the menu and go to Trash. (Trash is managed by the space's Owner and Admins — if you don't see it, ask them.)
  2. Tap Select and choose the photos you want back.
  3. Tap Restore. They return to the space, filed under their original dates.

To delete something permanently before the 90 days are up: select it in the Trash and tap Delete Forever. This can't be undone, so Memrico asks you to confirm first.

Deleting an album is a separate choice. When you delete an album, Memrico asks whether to keep its photos in the space (only the album goes away) or move the photos to Trash too. If family memories are involved, "keep media in space" is the gentler option — you can always reorganize later.
