How do I create an album?

Albums gather the photos of a moment — the reunion, the wedding, the summer at the lake — so the family can browse them as one story.

1. Tap the + button at the top of the screen and choose Create Albums — or go to Albums and tap the New Album tile.
2. Give it a title (required, at least 3 characters).
3. Add a description if you like — a line about what the album holds.
4. Tap Create Album.

Then add photos: open your new album, tap + Add Media, and either pick photos already in your space or upload new ones. See How do I add photos to an album?

Good to know:

• Each album name must be unique within your space — if you see "An album with this name already exists," pick a different title.
• Albums organize photos; they don't hide them. Everyone who helps organize your space can see all of its photos and albums.
• You can change the title, description, and cover photo any time from the album's ⋯ menu → Album Settings.
