How do comments work?

Every photo can hold its conversation

Every photo can hold its conversation — the "remember this?", the corrections, the story behind it.

Commenting on a photo: open the photo and tap Comments at the bottom. Type your comment and send. You can reply to someone directly — their name shows above your reply.

Album conversations: albums have a comment thread of their own — look for the comments bar when browsing an album.

Asking Rico: next to Comments on a photo you'll find Ask Rico. Ask about the photo, and if Rico's answer is worth keeping, tap Add to Comments to share it with the family — you can edit it before sharing.

Who sees comments? The members of the album or space the photo lives in — the same people who can see the photo. Comments are never public.

If you can't comment in a particular album, its settings have comments turned off — you'll see "Comments & likes are disabled in this album." Whoever manages the album can switch on "Members can comment and react to photos" in Album Settings.

A note on messaging: Memrico doesn't have separate private direct messages. Conversation happens where the memories are — on photos, in albums, and live in meetups.
