Who can see my photos?

Private by design — only the people you invite

Only the people in your space. Memrico is private by design — there is no public feed, no discovery, no strangers. Nothing you upload is visible to anyone who hasn't been invited in.

Inside a space, here's how visibility works:

  • People who help organize the space (the Owner, Admins, and Curators) can see all photos and albums in it. Albums organize photos — they don't hide them.
  • Subscribers (view-only members) see the albums that were shared with them, where they can browse, like, and comment.
  • Share links grant access to the specific albums they cover, to whoever opens the link — so treat a link like a key. Links can be revoked any time.

Your photos are never used for advertising, and they're never shown outside the spaces they belong to.

Deleting works the way you'd hope: deleted photos sit in the space's Trash for 90 days (where the space's Owner or Admins can restore them), then they're gone for good.

If you're deciding how to bring someone in: an invitation with a role gives you the most control; a share link is quickest but travels with whoever holds it. See How do I invite family to a space or album?
